Marnie holds a Master of Social Work and brings over 30 years of experience as a counsellor, clinical supervisor, and director of services in both community agencies and private practice. With a background in mental health, addictions, trauma, grief and loss, Marnie’s work is guided by her interest in the mind-body connection. She supports people from a place of humility and curiosity, with a strong belief in each person’s inherent capacity to heal and grow. Her integrative approach stems from years of training in western and alternative therapies that respect diverse experiences. Marnie‘s interest in psychedelic-assisted therapy started many years ago but her most recent experience is as a lead therapist with an international clinical trial exploring the use of psychedelics in treating depression.
